The Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (HMMC) plant in Nošovice will allocate a total of CZK 100,000 to support young talents. “The grant program is intended for gifted pupils and students who can further develop their knowledge and skills thanks to our contribution. Support can be requested in the fields of arts, natural sciences, design, and technology, or for interesting community, environmental, or charitable projects. Applications can be submitted by individuals or informal groups of pupils or students,” said Jana Opluštilová from HMMC’s External Relations Department.
Applicants in this year’s third edition of the Together for Dreams grant program can use the provided funding for participation fees, costs related to competitions (transportation, accommodation), scholarships, equipment, and materials necessary for project implementation.
For example, last year Hyundai supported a successful 12-year-old dancer from Ostrava, students from Mendel Grammar School in Opava for their participation in the Tournament of Young Physicists, a talented 18-year-old guitarist from the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, and a 17-year-old aspiring journalist from the Silesian Grammar School in Opava.
Grant applications can be submitted electronically only via the Grantys system at hyundai.grantys.cz until October 31, 2022. The grant committee will decide on the successful applicants. The application must also include a short motivational video where students present themselves and their projects. More detailed information is available on the HMMC website: www.hyundai-motor.cz/o-spolecnosti/grantove-programy.
Through its grant programs, Hyundai in Nošovice also supports the development of surrounding communities and the projects and activities of its employees each year. This year, within the Good Neighbor and Together programs, it distributed over CZK 1.5 million.
