Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech has concluded this year’s edition of its grant programs aimed at supporting the younger generation. The Together for Dreams program and this year’s new initiative, Dreams on Wheels, attracted strong interest from students. In the sixth edition of the Together for Dreams program, Hyundai is supporting eight projects this year with a total amount of CZK 162,532. The successful projects cover a wide range of areas, from sports and creative activities to education and personal development for young people aged 12–21.
As a member of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, Hyundai actively participates in the Key to the World project, implemented by the Confederation in cooperation with the Eva Pavlová Foundation, which aims to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Within this framework, the new subprogram Together Dreams on Wheels was created, enabling two successful applicants aged 17–21 to receive financial support for driving lessons and a category B driver’s license, representing an important step toward greater independence and new career and life opportunities. Another activity within the project was a Career Day for children from orphanages, during which 28 children had the opportunity to practice job interviews, write resumes, and tour the production and administrative facilities of the Nošovice plant.
“We are delighted to be able to support talented young people over the long term and to be part of their journeys, whether it involves developing their talents, education, or their first kilometers behind the wheel. We were also very impressed by the quality of this year’s applications and the motivation of the individual applicants.”
Barbora Hermanová, Head of Public Relations
The ceremonial meeting took place on December 15 in Nošovice, where President Changki Lee personally congratulated the successful applicants and presented them with symbolic checks. The Together for Dreams grant program has been a long-term part of HMMC’s activities supporting young people, education, and talent development in the Czech Republic. This year, the newly introduced Together Dreams on Wheels subprogram naturally extended this support.
