Good Neighbor: we will support
surrounding municipalities
with CZK 840,000

Our company continues to support the municipalities surrounding its plant through the Good Neighbor program. In this year’s 15^th edition, each of the 13 participating municipalities will receive a financial contribution of CZK 60,000. The funds will be used primarily for organizing cultural and social events and purchasing equipment for local associations. The ceremonial presentation of symbolic checks took place on Wednesday, March 4, when they were handed over to municipal representatives by HMMC President Sanghoon Yoon.

Supported activities include, for example, the Nošovice Festivities, Raškovice Village Day, a senior ride and Children’s Day in Dolní Domaslavice, or traditional film evenings at the Kamenité complex in Vyšní Lhoty. Support is also directed toward smaller community projects, such as the acquisition of equipment for municipal and cultural events in Pazderna or supporting the activities of local associations in Nižní Lhoty.

As part of the Good Neighbor Together sub-program, the municipalities of Vyšní Lhoty and Nižní Lhoty will receive additional financial support of CZK 30,000. The initiative focuses on environmental and community activities involving both local residents and HMMC employees. An avenue of fruit trees will be planted in Vyšní Lhoty, while in Nižní Lhoty, a natural embankment of woody plants, grasses, and herbs will be created to provide shelter and a food source for birds, small animals, and insects.
