Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech is continuing its grant program Together for Electromobility, which allows municipalities, institutions, and non-profit organizations in the Moravian-Silesian Region to use a Hyundai Kona Electric vehicle free of charge for six months.
Another four applicants from the Moravian-Silesian Region took delivery of Hyundai Kona Electric vehicles directly at the HMMC plant this week as part of the second wave of the Together for Electromobility 2025 program. This time, the program included Charita Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, Slezská Diakonie, MAS Jablunkovsko, z. s. and Odpaďáček, z. s. For six months, they will use the vehicles for their daily work and community activities, gaining practical experience with electromobility.
The program allows organizations to test an electric vehicle in everyday operation while contributing to raising awareness of more eco-friendly forms of transport in the region. Participating institutions can use the vehicles, for example, for providing social services, field work, or organizing community activities.
“When handing over the cars to the second group of successful applicants, it was confirmed to us once again that electromobility is an increasingly relevant topic in our region. We are pleased that thanks to this project, organizations and institutions can gain their own experience with an electric car and better understand the benefits of modern mobility,” says Barbora Hermanová, Head of Public Relations at HMMC.

The next round of applications for municipalities, authorities, and non-profit organizations in the Moravian-Silesian Region will open on April 15, 2026. Details are available on the Grant Programs – Hyundai Nošovice Manufacturing Plant website.
The Together for Electromobility program has been running since 2022, and its goal is to demonstrate the practical benefits of electric vehicles and support their wider use in the region.
