The Nošovice car manufacturer Hyundai will once again support regional sports, community activities, and projects dedicated to children and people with disabilities through the grant program “Together 2023.”
“Our employees can each year nominate a nonprofit organization of their choice for the grant competition. The minimum contribution per project is 5,000 CZK, and this year applicants can request up to 25,000 CZK, which is 5,000 CZK more than in previous years. In total, we plan to distribute a record amount of 1,000,000 CZK to applicants.”
Barbora Hermanová, Head of Public Relations at HMMC
Applicants can be individuals or legal entities. Projects should be supported by HMMC employees who have worked at the company for at least one year. Recipients of the Together 2023 grants must implement their projects within the Moravian-Silesian Region. HMMC will co-finance up to 50% of eligible costs.
The grant program consists of four pillars: in the “Together for Children” category, projects will focus on supporting leisure activities and the development of children’s creativity; the “Together Without Barriers” category will provide funds to organizations helping people with disabilities or for the purchase of aids and special equipment. The “Together for the Community” category supports cultural and social events or the renovation of cultural monuments. Lastly, the “Together for Sports” category offers financial support to organizers of domestic and international competitions in the region as well as to young athletes.
Applications for this year’s grants can be submitted exclusively online at hyundai.grantys.cz from March 1 to March 31, 2023. Supported projects will be selected by a commission composed of HMMC employees and experts. Results from previous years’ grant programs are available on the HMMC website.
In last year’s 7th edition, a record 104 applications were received. A total of 45 projects were recommended for support, with a combined amount of 810,417 CZK. Primarily, projects involving the active participation of Hyundai employees received support.
