A Good Neighbour: Hyundai Supports Local Communities with CZK 840,000

• As part of its Good Neighbour program, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (HMMC) is donating CZK 60,000 to each of 13 nearby municipalities to help organize cultural and community events. Selected municipalities will also receive an additional CZK 30,000 for environmental activities.

• In early March, the carmaker is also opening its Together grant program, through which nonprofit organizations, associations, and individuals from across the Moravian-Silesian Region can apply for funding.

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (HMMC) continues to support surrounding municipalities through the Good Neighbour initiative. In this 14th year of the program, each of the 13 participating municipalities will receive a financial contribution of CZK 60,000. The funds will be used primarily for organizing cultural and social events and for purchasing equipment for local community groups.

Supported activities include municipal festivals in Dobratice, Dolní Domaslavice, and Dolní Tošanovice, traditional movie nights at the Kamenité area in Vyšní Lhoty, and the purchase of equipment for cultural events in Pazderna. Municipalities receiving support also include Dobrá, Horní Domaslavice, Horní Tošanovice, Nižní Lhoty, Nošovice, Raškovice, Třanovice, and Vojkovice.

As part of the accompanying Good Neighbour Together project, the municipalities of Vojkovice and Dolní Tošanovice will receive an additional CZK 30,000 to support environmental initiatives involving local residents and HMMC employees. In Vojkovice, this will fund the revitalization of the park and the area near the parking lot opposite the municipal office, while in Dolní Tošanovice, public space near the bus stop and the municipal office will be improved.

From March 1 to March 31, nonprofit organizations, associations, and individuals from the entire region can apply for support through the Together grant program. The program offers financial assistance in four categories: Children, People with Disabilities, Community, and Sport. Grant amounts range from CZK 5,000 to CZK 25,000 per project. In 2024, a total of 49 projects were supported with CZK 1,018,005.
