The Hyundai Endowment Fund
supports Clean Up Czechia

This year, the Hyundai Endowment Fund will support the nationwide volunteer initiative Ukliďme Česko (Let’s Clean Up Czechia) with a donation of CZK 252,000. The project has long been fighting against illegal dumping and litter in cities, towns, and the countryside.

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech employees regularly participate in clean-up events in the spring and autumn. For many of them, this is an opportunity to actively contribute to protecting the environment and help transform their surroundings into a cleaner and more pleasant place to live.

Last year, 284 employees and their family members took part in the clean-ups. The volunteers cleaned up their towns and the surrounding countryside, and their efforts contributed significantly to the overall success of the event throughout the Czech Republic.

New this year is cooperation with the REmobil initiative, which allows old mobile phones to be handed in for ecological recycling. For each phone handed in, Ukliďme Czechia receives a contribution of CZK 10 to support other volunteer activities. HMMC employees can participate in the collection during March and hand over their unused devices for recycling.
